I initially found the inspiration for my paintings in the body: a décolletage, a back, a shoulder, an armpit, a back or a leg.

The woman who bought my first male nude thought I deserved an exhibition. That also happened at the Oranje Hotel in Apeldoorn. The gallery owner thought it would be nice if I expanded the series of décolletages a bit. I did that. This is one of my favorites from this series.
