Ik keek naar het programma Podium Klassiek en zag Ayanna Witter-Johnson die het nummer Ain't I a woman uitvoerde. Ik was onder de indruk. Zij heeft een iconische speech van Sojourner Truth, een tot slaaf gemaakte vrouw, op muziek gezet. Sojourner Truth gaf de speech op de Women's Rights Convention in Akron Ohio in 1851.
