Inspired by life
My name is Francina van 't Veld. I paint with acrylic and oil on linen and canvas.
The inspiration for my paintings was initially found in the body: a décolletage, a back, a shoulder, an armpit, a back, or a leg. By zooming in on elements of the body and enlarging them to a large format, a surprising, sometimes almost abstract representation is created.
Nowadays, I also find my inspiration in musicians but especially in a lot of coziness.
Upon request, I paint portraits and other desired representations.
